I received a notice from a previous company that doesnt seem legit?

Question by Sam J: I received a notice from a previous company that doesnt seem legit?
Recently I switched companys ( im a salesmen). I switched companies because I had to deal with poor treatment for a year and he put me on comission from a salary. (he never had anything in.stock so.I couldnt sell anything) today I recieved a notice from him and his “attorney/lawyer”(it doesnt say which) The reason I say it doesnt seem legit is because he stated his closing with the attorneys signature on a completely different paper. Any thoughts?

Call the business and ask them if it’s legitimate?
