What were the differences between process and result in the “two trails” and what did it mean to be a “good lawyer” ?

The first trial depicted was the black man being tried as a normal equal citizen of society. The second was the judgement because he was a different race and wouldn’t be tried fairly. To be a good lawyer ment that he would defend the defendant and be 100% truthful and unbiased and take on the case even though the rest of the town thought it was wrong.
