If Michele Obama (or any other lawyer) “voluntarily resigned” to avoid being disbarred, are all records of the reasons for the disbarment normally expunged “without a trace”? In other words, how come no one seems to be able to prove that she was going to be disbarred? In no way do I believe she voluntarily resigned.

If a lawyer does not use their license, it really makes no sense to keep it active. The costs are quite high, with yearly fees, ongoing educational requirements, etc. Many who receive a license to practice law voluntarily allow it to lapse for those reasons.

Since you don’t have any evidence otherwise, your refusal to believe in that fact demonstrates ignorance of the facts or simple bias.
