Is it ethical for partners in a law firm to represent sister in laws in a divorce?

I hired lawyer to represent me in a divorce, 2 months later my sister in law ( my soon to be ex husbands brothers wife) went to the same law firm and hired my lawyers partner. Is there a conflict of interest there? My lawyer wants me to sign a waiver stating that if there becomes a problem they will drop us both, can they do that?…I am 4 months into this and don’t want to have to start over with a new lawyer.
